Saying HELLO to November month in a day's time! Does it scare you seeing how time flies? 2008 seems like yesterday and now we are about to be done with 2009!  This point in time, are you busy recounting what you have done or not done for the past year and is starting to list down your new year's resolutions? It seems like a repeating cycle every year, but who really follows that?! The resolutions made are not materialized most of the time.

I would say 2009 has been a memorable one, no doubt with it's up and down. Life's a rollercoaster, isn't it? To recap, i feel that more good things than bad happened (:  Alot of mindset and attitude towards certain issues have changed significantly. Kinda personal to mention it publicly. All i can say that those changes are in a positive way. I do things that i love doing and i've never thought i would ever have the passion for them before. I've prolly laughed and cried, hoped and lost, waited and gave up, tried and gain some and also lose some but i believe i've gain insight dealing with these ordeals. I've learn, grow, and move on–life's lessons

Not yet a summarized post of 2009, it's too early, just some random thoughts that cross my mind. It's Halloween's night tomorrow, have a HAppY Halloween everyone!

17 October 2009
Location: Red Star Restuarant

A saturday that falls on a public holiday, non–working day for everyone (i suppose). Nonetheless, i had managed to arrange for this day to celebrate my mom's birthday with the family! My simple wish for mom is to stay healthy all year round, nothing beats that, not even wealth.

First of all, let me introduce my 2nd baby niece, Jia En.

Photobucket

Photobucket
She looked exactly the same as my first baby niece, which means the sisters looked so alike, despite being one year apart. She wore this sweet outfit for the celebration. So cute.

Photobucket
An early morning dim sum session with the family here. A thirty over years of reputation built up.

Photobucket
The interior. Nothing fanciful, traditional chinese restaurant that caters for big group family gathering/reunion.

Look at my mischievous niece, Hui En.

Photobucket
So cute with this pose.

Photobucket
Trying to be part of the conversation.

Photobucket
Can't sit still, as usual.

I surprised mom with a cake!

Photobucket
So lovely isn't it? I really had to say something about this cake, 100% pure durian cake! I think it taste so much better than Angie's Choice. Last time the family used to love Angie's Choice durian cake so much but there was a drop in standard as the years went by. This cake shop is located at Blk 517 Jurong West st 52, have to pre–order in advance, no ready made durian cakes available for sales. The shop owner was friendly, she went through her sales order to check which ever available order to sell to me first as i told her i needed the cake urgently. Really rare to find such yummy durian cake in the neighbourhood area. On a plus point, i love their egg tarts as well. Heh.

The wordings on the cake was requested by me. My brother let out a loud laugh when he saw the wordings. LOL! I think guys are not that expressive, to them, the word 'dearest' just seems weird. HAH! Dim sum bill total up to $189, a treat from my brother. Yay!

Is just a cake affair again. My cousin's birthday! Prime Deli's durian cake rocks too! Tell you, we are durian lovers. HAH!

An ice cream cake from me for the handsome boy. We gathered around to sing a happy birthday song, we do this for every birthday occassion in the family. Heartwarming indeed.

The birthdays celebrated over the weekend was simple & happy, just the way i love ♥

We timed our distance covered, 28 mins for our 4.2km route! Cheers!

Feeling attained to be part of this meaningful fund raising project as i always had the thought to do something more for the less privileged society. As you give so shall you receive.

11 October 2009
Location: Amara Hotel

Attended my colleague's wedding dinner, not many of the branch folks turned up, therefore one person is eating 2 person portion! HAH!

Photobucket
A petite chiffon black dress for the night.

Photobucket
Me & yan. Next year in October i will be attending her wedding dinner and i will be one of the jiemei too! Yay!

Photobucket
I like the shimmering ceiling. Felt like a starry night view. Nice!

Photobucket
Take 1. With Diaz, me, yan & the newly wed.

Photobucket
Take 2. With Josephine, Diaz, me, yan & the newly wed.

The part i like most attending wedding dinner would be the playback of 'Fetch the bride' ceremony. Seeing the series of obstacles the groom and his brothers had to go through to get the bride would always had me end up laughing out loud. Looking forward to upcoming wedding dinners at the start and end of december! One of my best friend will be tying the knot, i'am excited for sure!

On the safari bus to Nirwana Beach Club for sea activities!

Photobucket
The fatal banana boat ride. Was thrown off the sea after many rounds of swirling against the current at a high speed. Damn exciting & fun but the salty water is a con, was screaming throughout.

Day 2

SPA!

Photobucket
This pricey spa which costs USD 72 per person but is worth the $$! Thumbs up! Nice ambience with smoothing music, what's more, superb 'head massaging' skills!

Photobucket
Waiting for our spa~

After our spa treatment, we sneak into the inner part of Angsana beach resort to take photos! HAH!

Photobucket
I like this photo very much too, set as my fb profile pic (:

Back to our hotel to check out, went to the beach again for polaroid takings.

Photobucket

Photobucket
I really love this BIG polaroid camera of mine, it captures beautiful photos instantly with vibrant colors. Although the camera is bulky, still is a must bring for all trips. Instant takings to be kept for reminiscence.

The last activity we did was archery.

Photobucket
Fun! I only manage to hit one arrow on the board. The rest of the arrows all landed on the ground. lol.

Had tried to upload the banana boat ride video here but not successful. Let me figure out why and do hope i can share the video with you guys. The video shows our unglam moment after being thrown off the sea! HAH!

To end this post, the whole album can be viewed here:
